resulting from the intersection of investigations of narratives transmitted orally through the Charr\u00faa people and reading of history texts by contemporary authors. It is inspired by the figure of Melchora Cuenca (1790-1870), spearwoman of the Army of the Free Peoples (Confederation of Allied Provinces, 1814-1820), teacher, wife of General Jos\u00e9 Gervasio Artigas.<\/p><p>It seeks to make visible the role of women and indigenous peoples in the struggles for the independence of America. Identity is addressed through the empirical, corporal and sensory exploration of the cultures originating from the ITU region, where the events took place; the distribution of lands, territorial limits and the review of certain historical events of national and regional significance are themes that also make up the narrative.<\/p><p>The text and the bodies on stage constantly dialogue with the sound story linked to the Mby\u00e1 Guaran\u00ed cosmophony and the original music created for the work, enriched by actions inspired by the rituals of the Charr\u00faa people that appear throughout, such as sah\u00famo with herbs of the region and the tobacco ceremony, which contribute to the fictional construction by activating the senses.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">Research, creation and musical performance: Olga Luc\u00eda Salamanca.<br>\u201cQuepo en tu bowl\u201d by Diego Perich\u00f3n<br>Lighting design: Michay Fern\u00e1ndez Quintero and Joaqu\u00edn Romero.<br>Costumes: Julia Ruedas<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>como directora Cuenca.
